Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Creative Threads Co, we carefully package every order before sending it with Australia Post. Please read the following information before selecting your shipping option at checkout.
Processing Times
Most orders are packed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Personalised and handmade orders may require additional processing time, the banner across the top of the page will give you the time frame for these personalised items.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.
Please note that processing times are separate from Australia Post delivery times.
Untracked Letter Postage
We offer Standard Letter (Untracked) postage as a lower-cost option for orders containing 3 or fewer air fresheners and/or stickers.
This is our cheapest postage option, but it comes with a level of risk because there is no tracking available.
By selecting Standard Letter (Untracked) postage, you acknowledge that:
- Your order is sent without tracking.
- We cannot provide updates on the location of your order once it has been posted.
- Australia Post delivery times are estimates and can vary.
- Delays can occur, particularly during busy periods.
- Untracked postage is selected at the customer’s own risk.
- Creative Threads Co cannot accept responsibility for orders that are lost, delayed or unable to be located once they have been correctly packaged and lodged with Australia Post.
If you would prefer the added security of tracking, please select a tracked postage option at checkout.
Tracked Letter Postage
Tracked letter postage is available for eligible smaller orders and provides tracking once your order has been lodged with Australia Post.
Tracking allows both you and us to follow the progress of your order and provides greater visibility if your delivery is delayed.
Larger Orders & Garlands
Larger items, including name garlands and other orders that cannot be sent as a letter, will be sent using an appropriate tracked parcel service.
The available postage options and prices will be displayed at checkout based on your order.
Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on your location and are estimates provided by Australia Post.
As a general guide, allow approximately:
- Far North Queensland to other parts of Australia: 5–10 business days
- Other Australian locations: delivery times may vary depending on distance and Australia Post services
Please allow the full estimated delivery timeframe before contacting us about a delayed order.
During busy periods, including Christmas and major sales events, Australia Post delays may occur.
Delayed or Lost Orders
Once an order has been lodged with Australia Post, delivery is outside of our control.
For tracked orders, we can assist with checking the tracking information and following up where appropriate.
For untracked orders, Australia Post does not provide tracking or confirmation of delivery, so unfortunately we cannot determine where an order is once it has been posted.
If your order has not arrived after the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.
Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, additional postage may be required to resend the order.
Important
By placing an order with Creative Threads Co, you acknowledge that Australia Post delivery times are estimates and that selecting an untracked postage option means choosing a lower-cost service without tracking.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
